The annual conference will be held in Alexandria, Louisiana. April 14 thru 18, 2008. The conference will be hosted at the Alexandria Fulton Inn located at 701 Fourth St. Please make reservations by calling the hotel at (318) 442-9000. Room rate are $ 60.00 per day, excluding taxes; tax exempt form will be accepted. Please return conference registration with fees if possible. As you know it takes a great deal of planning to accommodate everyone. We are looking forward to seeing you at the conference. This will be one of best conferences ever and hopefully everyone who works with juveniles will take time off to net work with others and get some great information.

We would like you to become a member of our organization, but it is not necessary in order for you to attend. The member ship fee is just $ 20.00 annually.

If you would like to become a member just fill out the membership form and mail it to the address listed below. You also may become a member and not attend the conference. Membership gives you a voice in election of officers. If you are interested in running for a position on the LJOA board, just talk to one of the past presidents at the conference for details.

PAST PRESIDENTS: This is our 53rd conference and we have lots of past presidents that we lost contact with over the years. Please contact us to give us a current address and phone number so we may keep you informed of board meeting and events.

T-SHIRTS: If you would like to purchase a T-SHIRT and not attend the conference please fill out the conference form and mail it in with a check for $ 15.00 and a $ 5.00 shipping fee for each. T-SHIRTS will be mailed out the week of the conference.

Please pre register if possible. This gives us information on who is attending and whom we need to contact and get information too. But you also may register the day of the conference. Just print out the conference forms and bring them with you or write for a packet.
