The Louisiana Juvenile Officers’ Association (LJOA) is comprised of law enforcement officers, probation and parole officers, and child protection workers.  Each April our organization holds a training conference to better educate association members handling incidents involving juvenile justice issues.

The annual membership meeting and election of officers is held during the April conference.   The Board of Directors also meets in August and January.   The current president announces the date and place of each meeting.

We invite all Law Enforcement and related agencies that want to get updated information on juvenile law, investigating sex abuse cases and related investigations to come to our conference.  The conference location alternates between north and south Louisiana in the jurisdiction of the President.  This allows all agencies to have access to the training.

Our Emblem above reflects all agencies involved in the association and we hope to keep adding agencies and personnel to our membership.  Membership is $20.00 per year.  You may join by printing out and mailing the membership application and fee to Treasurer.
